Pat Sajak and Lesly Brown

When we think of Pat Sajak from the Wheel of Fortune, his on-screen sidekick Vanna White always comes to mind. Many watchers might be unaware that the TV symbol is a typical family man when he is not on stage. Though Sajak has been hosting the show with White for decades, their relationship is strictly personal, and he is happily married to Lesly Brown.

Their tale begins in 1988, when they met through a mutual friend at a restaurant opening in Irvine, California. Although they were on opposing surfaces of the world, Sajak and Brown kept in contact. They talked on the phone a lot, but their relationship started as a friendship. Sajak eventually popped the question to Brown, and on New Year’s Eve in 1989, they married at Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Annapolis, Maryland. Brown has decided to forego her ambition of becoming a lawyer to be a stay-at-home wife. After 32 years of marriage, they are proud parents to two adult children.
